Transport Management

Manage bus routes, vehicles, drivers, and student transport enrollments. Parents and students can view their route, stops, and live tracking.

Tabs Overview

• Routes — source/destination, route type (Morning / Afternoon / Both), ordered stops with pickup & drop times and landmarks.
• Vehicles — registration number, type (Bus/Van/Auto), seating capacity, live tracking URL, insurance/fitness expiry warnings.
• Drivers — name, phone, license (required); helper/conductor details and emergency contact (optional).
• Route Assignments — attach a vehicle + driver to a route per academic year (AM/PM trips).
• Student Enrollments — assign students to routes with separate pickup and drop stops via a search picker.

Setting Up a Route (typical flow)

1. Create the Vehicle and Driver records.
2. Create the Route with its stops.
3. Use Route Assignments to link vehicle + driver to the route for the active academic year.
4. Enroll students from the Student Enrollments tab, choosing pickup and drop stops.
